El verbo  to be   es un verbo irregular ,  Este verbo  habla de un estado o una situación  (por ejemplo, cómo te sientes), y puede  servir para describir las cosas .  Past simple How can I use it?      We can use it to talk about situations and states in the past. First, we need to know about the structures:  Positive sentence: Subject + was/were + verb + ing + complement - I was hungry this morning. - You were in the garden yesterday. - It was sunny yesterday. - They were at the beach last weekend. Negative sentence: Remember, we can contract not and the verb, especially when we're speaking. Subject + was/were + not + verb + ing + complement - I was not late for school this morning. = I wasn't late for school this morning. - He was not at home last Saturday. = He wasn't at home last Saturday. - We were not cold yesterday. = We weren't cold yesterday. Interrogative sentence: Was/Were +  Subject  + verb + ing + complement + ?   - Were you tired this morning? Yes, I was.

  How to talk about habits and routines. Habit: A habit is something that a person often does on a regular and repeated frequency. It is a type of conduct that tends to occur unintentionally.  To talk about habits in English we must use the simple present tense, we refer to habits when we want to talk about the things we habitually do every day. Examples:  I eat lunch at 12 every day I go to sleep late every night. Present simple vs Present continuous. Sometimes we can get confused with the present simple and continuous because the differences between them are very subtle. However, their main difference is in their use.  While we use the present simple to talk about actions in the present tense and habitual or permanent situations, the present continuous is used to indicate actions that happen while we are talking, actions in progress or in the near future. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PRESENT SIMPLE AND PRESENT CONTINUOUS Simple Present: It's a form of the verb that shows that the action occurs in the present.   "Have to": meaning, explanation and examples. Have to it's a semi-modal verbs, it acts like a verb the majority of time but it needs another verb to make sense. It's means "tener que" o "no tener que" and it's used to indicate an obligation or necessity,   that is to imposed by others, we are talking about a responsibility. How and when to use the verb "can".   the verb ' can' is a modal verb, and we can find it before a main verb which will always be in the infinitive. Its meaning is "Poder" in the affirmative or "No poder" in the negative. Structure  of the verb can :    Affirmative form:   subject+ can+ verb always in infinitive.   Ex.
